How it works
What we do
- ✓Send your text to our servers for grammar checking, then immediately discard it
- ✓Encrypt your text in transit with TLS whenever it's sent to our servers and on to Google Cloud
- ✓Cache grammar results on your device to avoid re-checking the same text
- ✓Collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the product
- ✓Store your email and name if you sign in with Google, so your settings sync
Infrastructure
Security first
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud, which is independently certified to SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

- ✓Sign out to unlink your Google account

Legal
The fine print
Y10 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Y10 is operated from the United States. If you use Y10 from outside the US, your data may be processed in the US.
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes, we'll notify you through the extension.
The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
